Maintenance

To keep your arena to a good and consistent standard it is imperative for a certain level of maintenance. Subject to the frequency and the type of use the arena has depends on how much. The surface needs regular grading to keep it to an even depth. It is also important to prevent the build up of materials against the kickboards. There are several competitively priced proprietary makes of arena graders that will address the above. Please ask for further details.

Please note that most arenas can freeze in severe conditions and it may be necessary to add salt to the surface. Also, in long dry spells the surface may need watering to lay dust and keep the surface in good condition.
