G.P. Cork Land Drainage was established in 1974. In the early days we carried out ground works and farm repairs. Due to such a high demand for our services we expanded further into agricultural contracting, specialising in the installation of land drainage schemes. We dominated the agricultural market in Shropshire and Staffordshire using the most advanced technology, methods of work and materials of the time.

A change of government funding in the agricultural sector forced contractors like ourselves to diversify, and we successfully entered into Highway and Civil Drainage for the major utilities e.g. Severn Trent, County Councils and the private sector.

In 1982, G. P. Cork (Plant Hire & Sales) Limited was formed to support the work of our land drainage company and to offer further land based services to our customers.

As a Company we do not advertise as a rule, all our work has been generated by word of mouth, and this speaks volumes for our reputation in the area!
